Isabel is the Regional Land Use Planner II and joined NMCOG in June 2023. She primarily works on projects such as the Regional Digital Equity Plan and other land use and economic development projects. She is passionate about finding solutions to address any and all challenges related to planning and community development.

Prior to working at NMCOG, she worked at the Borough of State College in Pennsylvania, where she gained extensive experience in addressing local planning-related issues and zoning enforcement during the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly in the areas of rent and small business loan assistance, zoning for signage, and short-term rental licensing enforcement.

She received a Master's in City and Regional Planning at Ohio State University and a Bachelor's in Political Science and a Concentration in American Music from Carleton College. She lives with her family in Lowell. Isabel is a certified planner with the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).
