In an effort to address the needs of individual communities and develop strategies for affordable housing implementation, NMCOG assists its communities in developing Housing Production Plans – these five-year plans are in accordance with M.G.L. chapter 40B. Each plan contains a detailed comprehensive needs assessment, affordable housing goals and strategies, and an implementation plan. The plans are individually tailored to accurately present a municipality’s housing needs, reflect the community’s priorities and available resources, and provide a realistic and impactful set of recommendations.
