Equitable Park Planning
NMCOG staff designed these resources to acknowledge that to be truly sustainable, people—and therefore equity and social justice—must be prioritized in the planning of parks and green spaces. The guides serve as a starting point for community organizations and planners involved in the development of parks to think about the importance of equity in their planning processes.
These materials were created by NMCOG staff with funding by the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.
